Job Description

Leading the HR function of the organisation

Strategic and Operational responsibilities

Managing 5 direct reports

Visiting other London locations (3) as needed

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates will bring full HR generalist experience in a similar role, including:- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience)

- Leading the HR function of an organisation

- Managing HR teams

- Working on both operational and strategic levels

- Working in the education or broader NfP sector

- Very strong on ER - in depth knowledge of UK employment law, significant experience of managing disciplinary and grievance cases, coaching / training managers in this area

- Performance management and appraisals

- Employee Engagement

- L+D - driving a receptive and engaged culture

- Embedding HRIS (Cascade, desirable)

- Updating payroll details, as needed

- Comfortable in very fast paced environments, managing multiple priorities

- Able to travel to other school locations (3) as required

- Pragmatic and solution-focused

- Understanding of safeguarding environments a plus
