About Our Client
Our client is a public sector organisation in Derby.
Job Description
As a key member of the Estates senior leadership team, you will contribute to the development of the strategic direction and business plans of Estates as a whole and will be tasked with delivering your areas of the plan including the day to day management of a sizeable in house team of in house technical staff.
Key requirements of the role will include having a particular focus on statutory compliance across the estate and ensuring that the estate is fully compliant and safe at all times for all users of the estate. You'll also be tasked with analysing the current delivery model and the current supply chain with a view to making the necessary changes to ensure that the most effective and sustainable practices are being followed.
There is also a new CAFM system which will need to be mobilized and implemented into the maintenance team and you will lead on this project.
Working closely with the Director of Estates you'll help to design, plan and implement a long term maintenance strategy.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering related discipline or a technical qualification related to the field of Hard FM services.
Applicants will need to demonstrate prior experience of a senior leadership or management level role which has involved managing a maintenance team across a large or multi site estate portfolio.
The role is based in Derby and will require a regular site presence so you'll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Derby.
What's on Offer
A salary of £56,000 - £74,000 is on offer as well 38 days holiday and a lucrative local government pension scheme.
