Job Description

The Key Responsibilities of the Head of Supply planning will be;

  • Overseeing the Procurement & Supply Chain department, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity
  • Formulating and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies to enhance business performance
  • Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensuring supply chain compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Leading and mentoring a team of procurement and supply chain professionals
  • Working closely with other department heads to align supply chain processes with business objectives
  • Overseeing the management of inventory to meet demand requirements
  • Assessing supply chain risks and developing contingency plans

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Supply planning should have:

  • A strong educational background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within the procurement and supply chain department
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and strategies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of vendor management
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools
  • Develop and lead a Team of 20 Supply planners and 2 Team leader
  • Ability to inspire lead a diverse team in a fast moving environment
  • Challenge the status quo and not afraid to make changes.
