A Nottingham based FMCG logistics company are looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Facilities Supervisor to oversee their a warehouse / distribution centre based in Nottingham.

Job Description

The H&S and Facilities Supervisor will lead the Group H&S and Facilities function, ensuring compliant legal standards, whilst engaging teams to deliver a safe, first class operation with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.This will initially be a Health & Safety role for the first 6 months to bring their site standards up to speed. The role will then develop into a hybrid H&S and Facilities role where you will be responsible for managing site maintenance, cleaning and security, reporting faults, arranging for external contractors to be on site, issuing permits for work etc.The role will be based in their Nottingham head office but occasional travel to other sights across the UK will be required.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 1-2 years health & safety / facilities experience ideally within logistics / warehousing
  • NEBOSH general certificate or an equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing facilities contracts (maintenance, security, cleaning etc.)
  • Travel to Depots throughout the UK
