About Our Client
My Client are a leading not-for-profit care provider
The main responsibilities of the Health, Safety & Fire Manager:
Develop and implement an effective risk management approach to Health, Safety & Fire within the group.
Act as a lead advisor for H&S areas across all services.
Assess the effectiveness of the Health, Safety & Fire management model and policies, procedures and guidance.
Develop and implement an effective and timely programme of inspections and risk mitigation activity.
Manage the H&S advisor team, including recruitment, performance management, personal development and support.
Manage stakeholders, negotiating and building constructive working relationships.
Develop and review budgets ensuring expenditure is managed in line with the group's forecasts.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful for the Health, Safety & Fire Manager role you will have:
Have up to date knowledge of government and industry guidance including Care Quality Commission
Qualified to HVQ level 4, HNC, HND or an equivalent qualification.
Relevant fire inspection qualification
Experience in leading and managing a team.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
What's on Offer
A basic salary of £45,000 - £46,000 + Car allowance and benefits.
