Job Description

  • Recent relevant experience of commercial contracting, ideally in a comparable setting
  • Qualified solicitor/barrister admitted in England and Wales
  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial judgement and understanding of risk management. A proven ability to interpret and explain implications of commercial agreements to non-specialists
  • Have expertise in intellectual property rights and an understanding of the issues that apply in a digital delivery context
  • Be a skilled and experienced negotiator with a focus on enhancing the client relationships at the same time as achieving the best commercial and strategic outcome.
  • Demonstrate an ability to resolve problems and apply creativity to devise varied solutions to complete negotiations and close the sale
  • Demonstrate confidence in their ability to take independent decisions and provide professional advice to others
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop and internal team
  • Build strong working relationships with internal colleagues, clients, and suppliers
  • Demonstrate an organised and structured approach to work and an ability to work under pressure and determine priorities, without direct supervision to meet deadlines
