Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to all levels of the organisation
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
  • Manage legal risk across the organisation
  • Conduct legal research and keep abreast of changes in law
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings
  • Liaise with and manage external counsel
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies
  • Provide training to staff on legal issues

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'In-house Lawyer' should have:

  • A degree in law and a valid license to practise
  • Strong knowledge of the legal landscape
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide clear, concise and practical legal advice
