It's a place where your contributions will not only be valued but will have a tangible impact on their members from day one.Job DescriptionThe In-House Legal Advisor will:Manage your own caseload, providing legal and technical advice to board members and regional stakeholders.You'll assess and process applications for legal financial assistance, ensuring compliance with the scheme's rules while protecting its funds.You'll provide guidance and support on matters through external panel Solicitors.You'll be involved in a wide range of legal disputes including; contracts, land, regulatory, rights of way, employment, tenancies, planning and judicial review.Additionally, you'll promote the Legal Assistance Scheme within designated regions, liaise with third-party advisers, and contribute to the overall strategy of the organisation.The Successful ApplicantThe In-House Legal Adviser should hold:A Solicitor or Legal Executive.Background in a legal advisory role, preferably within litigation and a not-for-profit organisation.Strong knowledge of UK litigation law and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work collaboratively in a team.What's on OfferThis is a brilliant opportunity to expand your legal experience whilst joining a team that's making a real difference in the agricultural sector.
