About Our Client

The first hydrogen related company to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, our client is a pioneer in designing and manufacturing PEM technology to produce green hydrogen, creating a cleaner economy by enabling industry to decarbonise.

At a pivotal stage in the company's growth, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to support their in-house function in development and improvement, based in their Sheffield office.

Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for supporting all legal activities of projects, providing general legal advice on day to day functions and international operations.

You will also be collaborating with other departments, supporting on the development of legal, corporate governance and contract management processes.

The role will include:

  • negotiating key project contracts and key supplier contracts
  • providing legal support to corporate legal matters
  • liaising and instructing external legal advisors
  • support in other areas where necessary
  • develop guidance and training materials to staff

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be 2 years + PQE and have relevant experience dealing with commercial, contract and company law. Experience within the manufacturing and engineering industry would be advantageous.

You will ideally be based locally as initial office attendance is a requirement.
