- Opportunity to join an established in-house function of a national organisation
- Hybrid working - not expected to be in the office every day
About Our Client
The in-house team of a large organisation.
The team is looking to recruit a Litigation Lawyer, reporting into the Deputy Head of Legal, to work within their established in-house function. You would be working alongside other solicitors but you would be one of the points of contact for certain contentious matters.
This is an important strategic hire for the team which has been approved at Board level.
You will be working on a caseload of litigation matters, as well as liaising with the organisation's external lawyers on more complex pieces of litigation.
You will typically be involved in litigation affecting individuals (customers of the organisation) rather than businesses, so the team is looking for a lawyer with great personal skills and the ability to approach disputes in a commercial and pragmatic way rather than a blanket black and white way.
As this is a new role within the team, there is great potential for this to grow and develop.
The team is flexible and you will not be expected to be in the office every day.
The Successful Applicant
It's likely that you will have at least 12 months' experience in litigation matters - the team is open minded as to the background of the candidate. You might be a high street/regional private practice solicitor who is looking to make that first in-house move. The role would not be suitable for a Paralegal. Our client will consider candidates with a range of PQE.
What's on Offer
The opportunity to move in-house, excellent benefits and hybrid working.
