Job Description

  • Support & advise key stakeholders on matters relating to disciplinary, grievance, performance management & absence management, for both your own and other business units in the UKI, when required, escalating to the HR Business Partner when required.
  • Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
  • Working with the recruitment Business Partner to Advise managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Training hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques
  • Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
  • Supporting the HR Business Partner & line managers with Identifying development needs
  • Managing staff relationships
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
  • Supporting the HR Business Partner to drive the business performance in relation to the organisation's objectives
  • Assisting in organising employer engagement, site engagement and branding initiatives
  • Liaising with the UK shared service centre to amend employment contracts and process leavers, ensuring that salary changes are effectively implemented
  • Liaising with payroll to submit reports on any overtime, sickness, increases or deductions are processed correctly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Professional HR certification (CIPD or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases
