About Our Client

My client is a Global Manufacturing business, they have experienced high growth and this is set to continue. Due to this continuous growth they are investing in a key HR Business Partnering role to support the Manufacturing and Supply Chain parts of the European business. The business has operations in Europe, US and APAC. This role will partner with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, European exposure also required. It is a key role in developing and transforming current processes and systems as a member of the HR leadership team.

The role reports directly to the newly appointed HR Director EMEA, the successful person will be working in a supportive environment and have excellent growth and progression opportunities. This role will be working closely with the Functional Leaders in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams across multiple sites with a European focus.

Job Description

The role requires a proven HR Business Partner, the successful person will have partnered with a Manufacturing business and also have previous European exposure. This role is key position to support business leaders within a multi-site Manufacturing business, this role is integral to support with the continued growth and development.

The role will be responsible for:

-Coaching business leaders to improve capability and delivery of a high performance environment

- Succession planning and organisational design

- Supporting the business with implementing strategy to ensure continuous improvement

- Ensure effective budget and resource allocation, management of spends and resources and tracking within area of responsibility

- Lead projects around restructuring, acquisitions, organisational design and transfers

- Employee Relations support, prevention rather than delivery being the key objective

- Up-skill and develop tools available to managers to reduce escalation of the formal routes being required

- Change management and transformation throughout the organisation

- Coach Functional Leaders to improve people management whilst deploying appropriate HR interventions to support business strategy

- Contribute to the development and retention of HR talent to ensure capability, succession planning and talent management

- Talent strategy development

- Work with Operations to improve business and labour productivity

- Support business plans around viability and what HR support is required to achieve success

- Leading a D&I agenda

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD Qualified, they will have a proven track record within the Manufacturing industry, will have European experience, ideally within a Manufacturing business but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Business partner and be able to demonstrate their previous successes.

This role requires clear communication, strong change and transformation skills and the appetite to support the wider business to increase the HR presence in a more strategic platform.

The successful candidate will be a strong relationship builder, be comfortable to take decisive action and execute plans with excellence.
