Job Description

The HR Business Partner will support the Corporate Services Director in leading a team, whilst providing an exceptional HR service across the organisation.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director this role will:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, ensuring they comply with all relevant FCA regulations and industry compliance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of FCA regulations and ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes are continuously updated to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the Corporate Services Director to benchmark competitor reward and remuneration practices, to inform the development of competitive and role aligned pay and reward packages for Board, Executive and staff.
  • Develop and implement effective change management solutions to ensure the successful implementation of the organisational design, managing the implementation of any structural changes and ensure the organisation evolves in line with the strategy.
  • Management of HR projects from the scoping, designing stage through to implementation in line with agreed costs and forecasted ROI. Collate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, anomalies, and risk, making recommendations and proposals for new initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a supportive work environment and addressing employee concerns in accordance with FCA guidelines, whilst being the direct lead on occasional complex ER case work
  • Manager longer-term projects in attraction, talent, reward, and bonus structure improvements.

As an FCA regulated industry, there is a requirement for a highly professional and commercially astute individual with a strong FCA background who fully understands and has a proven track record of understanding compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Services sector.
  • Experience of developing reward and remuneration packages.
  • Highly numerate with ability to interpret data.
  • Passion for working within an intelligent and dynamic business with ambitious growth plans.
  • A strong understanding and proven track record with demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct.
  • A strong, dynamic, and highly professional team leader.
