About Our Client

My client is a multi-site private health care provider, based in Pinner, they were created in 2003 and have since gone from strength to strength. Since 2003 they have grown to 27 locations and are looking to double this in the next 5 years. They are very diverse and looking to transform the health care industry in their given market. The HR Director will report directly to the CEO and work very closely with the COO.

Job Description

The role requires a hands-on, very commercial HR Director with a growth mentality. The role will sit on the Leadership team and be integral in their continued growth. Some of the key areas of focus are below:

- Contract review and standardisation

- Talent attraction and retention strategies, building a talent pipeline is essential to success

- A solid understanding of self-employed workers is essential

- Finalise and implement the company's core values

- Create a strong culture where people are happy and growth is achieved

- Management of a team of 5, coaching and developing the individuals

- Manage the Employee Relations and deal with any grievances

- Review and ensure the Health & Safety procedures are up to date and adhered to

- Employment law within Dentist and Health care space is highly desirable

- Succession planning

- Training staff and supporting the employees with further learning opportunities internally and externally

- Integration of new sites acquired - TUPE

- Build a collaborative work place and ensure continuous development takes place

- Review and enforce current HR policies across the group

- Strong business partner with all functions

- Support commercial decisions the business makes

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD Qualified, they will have exposure to a multi-site group and have worked in an environment where there are self-employed staff and understand the differences as a result.

The successful candidate will have previously worked within an SME that has experienced high growth and understands some of the exciting challenges that arise as a result.

The successful candidate will be happy working in Pinner and being on-site for the majority to support the many sites.
