H&S Business Partner - Construction

The key responsibilities as the Health & Safety Business Partner - Construction are as follows:

• To proactively work with the business to ensure high standards of H&S behaviours

• To develop and maintain highly interactive relationships, to embed oneself across the business with key stakeholders through the use of strong influencing skills

• To assist in the provision of operational health and safety support and advice to managers and front line staff to ensure they are safe and healthy at work

• To provide specialist advice and guidance on construction related activities. This will be up to 30% of the role and there will be a specific focus on CDM as part of this

• To contribute to policies, procedures and reports as required

• To carry out inspections, audits and incident investigations as required and ensure remedial actions are followed through by action owner

• To analyse and extrapolate information from management information to support managers to drive improvements in their teams

• To create engaging and informative health and safety communications for staff and customers

• To support in the delivery of internal and external health and safety training

• To ensure the safety of our customers through site visits and inspections
