Job Description

This is a tranformational role reporting in to the Operations Director with Senior Leadership Team responsibility.

The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, health, safety and environmental across a complex plant consisting of heavy processing machinery, high traffic volumes and substantial customer and supplier involvement:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies and procedures site wide
  • Promote a positive HSEQ culture within the company
  • Drive safety culture and training on HSEQ matters
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective action
  • Lead and develop a small team
  • Work closely with the SLT to drive continued growth across the organisation
  • Play a strategic role in the management team to drive continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

The successful HSEQ Manager will possess a range of the following:

  • NEBOSH qualification (diploma advantageous)
  • Proven experience in an HSEQ role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience of implementing, improving and maintaining HSEQ systems
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to influence and drive change
  • A results-driven approach and a commitment to continuous improvement
