About Our Client
The client is a large property holder in the are surrounding Oxfordshire area.
The main responsibilities at the council for the Interim Building Surveyor will be:
- Conduct condition surveys on the commercial buildings
- Complete insurance surveys
- Project Manager minor works
The Successful Applicant
The Building Surveyor will ideally have the following experience:
Demonstrable experience in controlling / supervisory role within building/project management/surveying experience.
Management of projects and collaborative working
An understanding of budgetary control
Demonstrable experience of maintaining good customer relationships
Experience of drafting technical specifications
Detailed technical knowledge of Building / H&S regulations
Able to complete competent stock condition / dilapidation surveys to identify deficiencies / remaining life in accordance with best practice.

The role is a 12 month fixed term contract, with the same benefits as a permanent employee from day one. There may be a permanent opportunity at the council after the 12 month period.
