A high-growth company is seeking an internal Interim Commercial Litigator for 6-12 months to manage a complex claim they are bringing. This will be an interim role in the Midlands for 6-12 months.

Job Description

The Interim Commercial Litigator will be:



  • Leading the strategy and execution of a misrepresentation claim following a business sale


  • Conducting in-house investigations, document review and internal interviews


  • Drafting key litigation documents and correspondence


  • Instructing and managing external legal advisors


  • Providing regular updates and strategic guidance to the board


  • Assessing commercial risk and potential settlement options


  • Managing litigation timelines, spend and outcomes


  • Ensuring the business stays compliant with procedural requirements

The Successful Applicant

The Interim Commercial Litigator should be:



  • A solicitor or equivalent with 6+ years' strong commercial litigation experience


  • Skilled in misrepresentation, JV/share sale disputes, and professional negligence


  • Confident managing major disputes with limited supervision


  • Strategic, commercially minded, and a clear communicator


  • Experienced in managing external counsel and internal stakeholders
