1 -The role would suit a highly commercial and legally tuned in-house counsel or commercial/ contract manager who is able to draft, amend, review and negotiate customer and supplier contractual and pre-contractual documents and amendments. This will including (without limitation) non-disclosure agreements, customer agreements, letters of agreement, memoranda of understanding, settlement agreements, services agreements, licensing agreements, property leases, terms and conditions, long-term business agreements, and consultant engagement agreements.
2- The individuals will also be supporting bid & tender activities, drafting applicable bid responses and completion of compliance matrices, providing advice and support to the Sales team throughout the bidding process and responsible for the day-to-day activity of structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
3 -You would also be involved in drafting corporate policies, developing strategies to mitigate legal risks to the business and developing strategies to improve contract management processes.
4 - Lead or participate in negotiations face-to-face, online, via video conference, telephone, or email with customers.
5- Support and review marketing publications, media communications and other related documents.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will either be an experienced commercial counsel or commercial/ contract manager who is highly legally tuned!
Experience of working in-house is a must
Experience of working within the manufacturing/ aerospace industry is highly desirable
Highly commercially aware whilst mitigating legal risks is a must
Strong negotiation skills are required whilst having the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
Highly personable and a can-do attitude
