About Our Client
Manufacturing and engineering company with Global footprint. Major employers in the South West and a leading niche manufacturing business. 5 in the legal team who are all highly experienced, friendly and welcoming. Flexible culture and interesting business.
Drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of international commercial contracts;
Leading or assisting with matters relating to leasehold property (in the UK and internationally) and assisting in the development of a new Group property strategy;
Instructing, liaising with and managing external legal advisors;
Supporting the maintenance and further development GDPR policies.
Managing or assisting with various corporate matters e.g. reorganisations, extracting dividends from subsidiary companies - including drafting board minutes and resolutions.
Assisting in the application of company's sanctions compliance process, including performing due diligence on customers.
Be independent-minded and have the highest standards of ethics and integrity;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Pragmatic in approach, business-focused and able to make the complex simple;
Any of the following would also be an advantage:
International corporate/commercial experience;
In-house experience; and/or
GDPR implementation experience.
The Successful Applicant
Must have a solid commercial background. Manufacturing industry experience beneficial but not essential.
Ability to join within 1 month notice period
