About Our Client
Our client is a well-recognised brand specialising in the automotive industry, currently looking to welcome on board an Interim Accountant who will work on site in the Portsmouth office.
This is a temporary position, with an initial 3-6 month period but may also lead to a permanent hire.
Job Description
The responsibilities of the Dealership Accountant may include:
- Providing monthly management information and financial performance reports
- Reviewing management controls
- Taking ownership of P&L and balance sheets
- Maintain and monitor the payroll function
- Business Partner with the key stakeholders / clients and Operations Team
- Production of the yearly budgets
- Ensuring the company complies with VAT requirements
- Play part in the financial accounting duties including support through year-end and company audits
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (may consider applicants qualified by experience)
Will have strong commercial experience ideally within a Manufacturing / Automotive / Retail sector
Strong communicator, with experience of business partnering, month/ year end reporting
