About Our Client

My client is an ambitious multi academy trust based in Slough seeking support from an Interim Finance Director.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Interim Finance Director:

- Ensuring that the annual accounts are properly presented and adequately supported by the underlying books and records of the academy

- The preparation of monthly management accounts

- Preparration of annual budgets

- Monitor income and expenditure

- Strategic lead - able to support the trust in terms of their direction

- Financial reporting, working with other accountants to put together statutory reports

- Collating the financial reports and presenting to the trust

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Finance Director:

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

- Experience from within the education sector / Multi academy trust is essential (we won't be able to consider candidates without this experience for this role)

- Experience managing a finance team, dealing with trustees and senior executives

What's on Offer

For the successful Interim Finance Director there is a daily rate of circa £325 per day (Inside IR35) / £60k salary, a start near the end of May and an opportunity to work in an ambitious multi academy trust.
