About Our Client
Major player in the energy sector.
Its a 5 day, 6-9mths assignment at £650p/d (inside IR35) and focused on running with a number of cost improvement projects while keeping stakeholder engagement high during a period of transformation.
The business operate in a complex contractual landscape so someone that understands the value levers in deals and where commercial gain can be identified is of particular interest.
Some of the category areas are quite unique to this clients industry so they have identified the need to move away from this specific knowledge and open up to candidates who can demonstrate commercial category management in environments where there isn't a great deal of structure and process but some great data to build category strategy.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally degree / MCIPS qualified
IT/General Indirects/Construction are categories of particular interest
High level of commercial acumen, can you extract long term value from a deal as well as initial savings.
Proven track record of delivering indirect spend projects within complex environments.
If you have worked in the energy or similar sector this would be of particular interest to the client.
