About Our Client

Our client is a leading international business services provider, with a global footprint and recognised brand. Firmly established in the FTSE 250, the business is young, ambitious and dynamic and is continuing to grow organically into new markets as well as new countries.The Treasury team is small and ambitious with several large deliverables over the next twelve months. Reporting to the Assistant Group Treasurer of this large international FTSE 250 Company, the role is high profile with exposure to the global finance community. In addition to business as usual the occupant of the role will have a unique opportunity to deliver significant projects.

Job Description

  • Responsibility for short and medium term cash forecasts, including centralising and co-ordinating input from business units and incorporating longer term forecasts and Group budgets;
  • Identifying FX requirements and exposures, providing recommendation of FX trades;
  • Manage the global cash position, providing recommendation of investments and cash repatriation (ie dividends and royalties);
  • Manage the intercompany loan facilities;
  • Centralise and process bank guarantees;
  • Management of bank system administration;
  • Prepare Treasury reporting and help establish automated accounting functionality;
  • Maintenance and update of the Treasury procedures;
  • Provide assistance on the insurance and sanctions compliance programmes;
  • Provide advice on Treasury matters to business units; and
  • Assist with projects and support team where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • Understanding of treasury markets & products - including transactional banking, management of cash & liquidity, FX and bank guarantees;
  • Working knowledge of City Financials / Wall Street Systems (highly desirable);
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships through a variety of mediums;
  • Efficient, effective and highly organised;
  • Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • An ability to follow instructions accurately, accurate posting and a neatness of work;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Willingness to assist colleagues in busy times.
