Internal Auditor

As an Internal Auditor, you play an important role in the monitoring of the finances for the organisation your day to day can vary; working alongside senior colleagues as part of the larger team. Due to the nature of the role, while this is offered on hybrid working schedule; around 60% of your time/ responsibilities will be spent by visiting the different branches in-person to perform the following:

• Regularly taking an independent lead on branch audits and ad-hoc special investigations to deal with branch queries on all aspects of branch finances
• Provide comprehensive reports to the Senior Auditor team and relevant parties and provide management information in a timely manner
• Submitting and actioning recommendations to reduce risks while also maintaining the audit log, records and working papers to a high level of standard
• Liaise with committees and stakeholders, internally and externally, on legal cases and proceedings
• Develop and update internal audit procedures, handbooks and guidance required for publication including training materials
