About Our Client

I am pleased to be partnering with a leading health charity based in SE1 to recruit for an exciting role in the Internal Communications function.

Job Description

  • Supporting the Internal Communications Manager to deliver strategic internal communications projects to improve and build the internal communications function.
  • Supporting day to day activities as we develop the internal communications function, delivering effective internal communications to help staff engage with the organisations mission and values.
  • Delivering internal communications plans to engage colleagues with core areas of our work, including work on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Working closely with the People & Culture team as part of a business partnering approach
  • Supporting key internal communications projects, including the rollout of the People Strategy and a full change programme including new systems and policies
  • Creating and editing internal communications content and managing internal communications channels

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Communications Officer should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in internal communications, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Good organisational and project management skills.
  • Using content and multiple channels to inform and engage staff.
  • Supporting and delivering successful engagement activities e.g. internal campaigns or events
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
