Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Support
  • Provide high-quality IT support for medium-sized organisations.
  • Quickly resolve IT issues to minimise disruptions.
  1. Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune)
  • Support and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune).
  • Handle device configurations, updates, and security policies.
  1. Desktop Support
  • Offer dedicated support for desktop systems, including software and hardware issues.
  1. Microsoft/Office 365 Administration and Support
  • Administer and support Office 365 applications and users.
  • Address access, email, and application-related issues within the Microsoft/Office 365 suite.
  1. SharePoint Support
  • Assist with SharePoint administration, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure optimal performance and user experience in SharePoint.
  1. Device Support
  • Support a variety of devices, including laptops and mobile devices.
  • Set up devices for new employees and conduct necessary inductions.
  1. IT Security
  • Follow IT security best practices in all responsibilities.
  • Assist in monitoring and mitigating potential security threats.

The Successful Applicant

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience providing IT support to medium-sized organisations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune).
  • Proficiency in desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 administration and support.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, and ideally Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Experience supporting various devices, including laptops and mobile devices.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users clearly.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, empathy, and patience when dealing with users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL processes is advantageous.
