Job Description

Core IT Risk & Control duties and accountability ·

Provide risk management guidance to Technology teams on IT risks, threats, gaps, controls and regulatory requirements. · Participate actively in the risk and control processes e.g. risk assessment, control self-assessment, application security review. ·

Review existing and proposed technology practices to minimise risk exposure. · Assist technology (or business if required) in meeting applicable control and regulatory requirements e.g. SOX Control testing, ICAAP submissions, regulatory requests. ·

Lead and coordinate control gap remediation efforts and ensure open audit or regulatory items are closed on time. · Maintain up to date knowledge of local and regional technology related regulations and industry practices and liaise with internal standard setting bodies on upcoming changes. ·

Prepare reports to local and/or global management forums as required.

The Successful Applicant

IT Risk and Control Specialist will need :

Risk and Controls experience in Technology is required for a significant period.

Risk and Resilience experience ideal

Disaster Recovery experience useful

Banking or wider Financial Services experience.

Previously worked in a Regulator or Regulatory environment

Stakeholder engagement.
