Job Description
IT Security Architect - TOGAF - Public Sector
The role will ultimately give the holder responsibility for designing and overseeing the implementation of IT security for the organisation.
You will be dealing with a complex sets of security requirements, needs and solutions, and will need to strive to make these work together.
You will be responsible for protecting the organisation's data and systems from any accidental or deliberate attack, in line with all required governance.

IT Security Architect - TOGAF - Public Sector
In order to be successful in this position you will need to show a generous level of experience, working within an organisation with similar values and approaches.
If you are certified in CISSP, GSEC or ISC2 you will have an advantage in the role but these are not essential.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate all or most of the following:
- Experience at a senior level within an Infosec environment
- Experience using various IT security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- In depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and UNIX environments
- In depth understanding of authentication, encryption and user validation techniques
- Good knowledge of architecture as well as how to implement security and access management
- Strong Business acumen and a good understanding of general business practices
- Understanding of security concepts deep enough to engage in discussion with security technologists
