Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Ensure Backup and Disaster Recovery requirements are achieved as described in the Business Continuity Plan

· Maintain accurate and detailed systems documentation

· Maintain the organisations line of business applications

· Management of a multi-site switched and wireless network

· Managing faults, including incident ticket management and change control from creation to closure

· Manage and ensure effectiveness of our security solutions and threat defence systems

· Operate and maintain our proactive monitoring systems

· From time to time act as key liaison between the ICT Network Team and the ICT Service Desk

Able to carry out IT Support Technician duties and responsibilities

The Successful Applicant

Skills and Competencies

· Windows Server System experience

· Strong PowerShell skills

· Working knowledge of Active Directory

· Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure

· Working experience with IaaS/PaaS deployments, right-sizing systems for performance and cost

Ability to explain technology to non technical individuals

Lives in or around City of London
