About Our Client
Our client is a market leading FTSE 250 based in London, with a growing global presence who are actively recruiting an IT Vendor Manager.
The IT Vendor Manager based in London will be responsible for:
-Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external suppliers.
-Maintaining and sustaining relationships with suppliers, as well as developing a long term plan for strategic IT Vendor Manager for the FTSE 250.
-Working across procurement and IT to define and design effective management of suppliers as well as developing a long term strategy.
-Manage the interaction between vendors and internal IT Procurement delivery to provide longer term visibility for initatives and programmes.
-Managing the long term budgets and operational costs of third party suppliers and services.
-Working with procurement to establish long term visibility and strategy on ongoing and potential suppliers, with agreed long term criteria and alingment of strategy.
-Manage communication with IT vendors building awareness of organisational strategic direction, including changes and challenges.
-Develop market intelligence in the FTSE 250 to inform internal decisions regarding the vendor management strategy.
-Monitor performance of vendors to ensure delivery is line with contractual obligations and performance metrics developed.
-Building strong relationships internally and externally.
The Successful Applicant
The IT Vendor Manager will be:
-An experienced IT Vendor Manager or IT Supplier Relationship Manager with at least 7 years experience
-Exisiting knowledge of vendor models including development and exposure to developing transformational programmes.
-Strong demonstration of third party supplier management.
-Ability to build a vision for vendor management within the FTSE 250 including a longer term roadmap in line with the IT procurement strategy.
-Able to develop relationships and manage stakeholder relationships quickly internally and externally.
What's on Offer
Basic Salary of £65,000-£75,000 + benefits.
