Job Description

  • With the support of senior legal counsel, provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, employment law and corporate governance
  • Assist senior legal counsel in providing legal support across the above areas ensuring they are fit for the future growth of the company.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with business partners, suppliers and customers
  • Ensure company wide compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards across areas of your expertise
  • Provide general and commercial legal support to projects and businesses within the group. This may include advice on tender proposals, contract drafting, negotiation and review, and specific legal needs
  • Work with projects and senior legal counsel to resolve ad-hoc legal issues, supporting the Group's Merger and Acquisition strategy

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Legal qualification in the UK/Ireland
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE
  • Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry would be beneficial
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
