About Our Client

The client is a Central Government organisation with offices across the country, they are going through a large commercial transformation due to a change in funding structure and more autonomy being granted to the organisation to be accountable for it's own contracts and spend.

Job Description

Both the IT Category Manager and Professional Services Category Manager will be responsible for running a range of procurements and contract / commercial management programmes within their given categories. There will be focus across both new supplier agreements and revisiting existing contracts to extract maximum value for the client.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have experience in large scale Government procurement exercises across either IT / Digital or Professional Services and HR. Both Procurement and Contract management experience would be beneficial to the requirements of the category manager role. Strong stakeholder management and supplier engagement skills required.
