Legal Counsel - Construction and Procurement (London) - Mid-level PQE
A broad projects role with one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects
About Our Client
Our client is a high profile UK infrastructure project which will revolutionise transport in the UK.
The main responsibilities with this role include:
- Drafting and negotiating documents and providing advice to staff at all levels on all aspects of commercial/contracts law in complex construction, infrastructure and funding;
- Assisting with corporate, intellectual property, financing and technology matters;
- Assisting with advice on resolution of contractual claims and disputes (including supporting, but not directly conducting, litigation or arbitration using external lawyers where appropriate).
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is likely to be a UK or Common Law qualified Lawyer with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
They will have non-contentious construction and infrastructure project experience.
In house experience will be looked upon favourably, but is not a pre-requisite.
