About Our Client
Our client is multinational construction and infrastructure supply chain business.
Under the supervision of a senior lawyer, in this non-contentious role the candidate will be required to draft on and advise on standard construction contracts (JCT, NEC3, RIBA).
In addition, due to the client's position in the construction and infrastructure supply chain, the candidate will be require to work on general procurement matters and related contracts.
There will also be general commercial contracting which the candidate will assist with as well as work related to other legal issues arising in the course of the organsiations day-to-day business.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be:
- likely to be UK or common law qualified lawyer with between 3 and 6 years of post qualification experience; and
- a lawyer with expertise and experience in standard form contracts and/or procurement in heavy industry; and have
- gained that experience either at a top ranked law firm for infrastructure and construction projects and/or a well regarded in house legal team.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in both a commercial and collaborative environment.
