About Our Client
An organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector operating across multiple jurisdictions.
This is an opportunity for a lawyer to join an organisation within the manufacturing sector, reporting into the European Counsel and the legal team in the US.
This role will suit a solicitor with considerable commercial experience who is looking for a role with plenty of autonomy and who is able to offer pragmatic solutions to internal stakeholders themselves and have the confidence to advice senior persons within the business on risk and commercial decisions.
This would be a great move for a solicitor with some PQE in commercial contracts and perhaps already within an in-house setting who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role.
There is prospects for this role to grow and for the individual to become an important decision maker in the business.
It is a general commercial position drafting a range of commercial, licencing and IP agreements. There will be of course be ad queries and general day-to-day advice. The ability to think on your feet and deal with a range of queries at a time is essential.
You will have a direct reporting line into a senior lawyer although they are based in a separate office so this role will give you autonomy and will challenge you to work as part of this small team but also in standalone way.
The organisation has adapted well to flexible working and remote working so this will be on offer going forward.
The Successful Applicant
It's likely that you will have at least 2 years' experience as a qualified solicitor advising on a range of commercial matters either within a private practice or in-house setting. Sector experience would be an advantage but not essential.
