A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a LGV Class 2 Driver based in their site in Mildenhall on a permanent basis. The role involves the transportation of goods, maintaining vehicle safety, and meeting delivery schedules in a busy distribution environment.

Job Description

The LGV Class 2 Driver will be responsible for:

  • Delivering goods to various customer locations
  • Ensuring all goods are safely secured before transportation
  • Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and safety
  • Meeting delivery schedules in a timely manner
  • Completing all necessary paperwork related to deliveries
  • Complying with all company policies and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Assisting with loading and unloading goods when necessary

The Successful Applicant

A successful LGV Class 2 Driver should have:

  • Valid full clean licence
  • Class 2 licence essential with CPC and digital tachograph
  • Experience in driving similar vehicle in a busy distribution operation ideally within construction, housing or civil engineering
  • Valid CSCS site visitor card is beneficial
  • A strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent local and geographical knowledge
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
