About Our Client
Michael Page are partnered with a leading service provider in order to find the most successful Project Manager for this PFI Lifecycle position which will cover sites in the North West and South West of the UK.
The PFI Lifecycle & Asset Manager will assist the PFI General Manager and Head of Estates to successfully manage the delivery of PFI lifecycle projects.
You will be required to manage the relationships between the clients, and key stake holders.
Project management of Lifecycle works and variations, along with the management and resolution of construction issues will play a large part of the role.
You will need to deliver the lifecycle and maintenance costing of variations in line with contractual obligations, and you will be required to provide technical knowledge and input to the life cycle and contract variation activities on the PFI.
You will be developing and maintaining an effective lifecycle model for all assets to produce an optimal asset operation, replacement and refurbishment plans and associated capital investment plans.
Devise and plan rolling programmes to deliver comprehensive planned maintenance and asset lifecycle requirements in line with good industry practice, including whole life costing.
Providing strategic advice relating to Asset Management to the business, in addition to development of critical documentation, and training modules,
The Successful Applicant
Proven background in project management of lifecycle works, including the negotiation of lifecycle works subcontractors.
Proven background in FM, maintenance delivery, and the PFI environment.
Proven PFI background.
Educated to Incorporated Engineer level and be a member of the Institute of Asset Managers
Proven background in project delivery and experience of whole life costing.
Degree level education or equivalent.
PRINCE 2 practitioner
Have a detailed working knowledge of contract management and strategic and operational TFM delivery.
A strong people manager, who will have the ability to successfully lead, motivate and manage a diverse team and will be a natural strategic thinker with a strong commercial awareness.
