Job Description

  • Supervising and mentoring the logistics team to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Monitoring and managing shipping schedules, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Implementing and maintaining best practices in shipping and logistics.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Handling any shipping-related issues, troubleshooting, and providing effective solutions.
  • Analysing shipping data to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Managing relationships with carriers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
  • Training and supporting the team, conducting regular 1-2-1's



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a shipping or logistics supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
