Management Accountant

As Management Accountant, the role holder will take responsibility for:

• Costing - maintaining standard and current costs for purchased and manufactured items.
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, group reporting, external reporting, variance analysis and commentary
• Supporting the Financial Controller in completing internal and external audit processes
• Inventory Management, Control and Reconciliation
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Calculation, posting & reconciliation of accruals as appropriate
• Fixed Assets reconciliation, calculation and booking of depreciation
• Cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Foreign Exchange updates
• Calculation & reporting of Sales Taxes
• Reporting of Sales & Order intake statistics
• Finance partnering with Operations and Engineering senior management to help support more informed decision making across the business.
• Supporting the Finance Director in functional development within the Finance team.
• Ensuring all statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.
