Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist in financial planning.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
  • Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance and budgets.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial results.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A Part-Qualified Accountant working towards a recognised accounting qualification
  • Experience in management accounting within the retail or a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • The ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and principles.
