Job Description
- Contribute to the design team, by building close collaboration and giving scientific input and quantitative assessment of data generated to wet lab scientists.
- Managed by a team of bioinformaticians which include recruitment of new members.
- Give technical guidance in the design and analysis in all types of experiments during phases of development
- Develop the novel methodologies and algorithms for methylation analysis of bisulphite and enzyme-treated DNA from next generation sequencing data.
- Produce high quality documentation of methods, plans, findings and algorithms
- Maintain the company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork in your day-to-day work
- Adhere with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree educated in a Ph. D or relevant fields
- Experience in bioinformatics and genomics.
- 2+ years' experience conducting high-quality independent research.
- Experience in scientific programming and software development
- Knowledge in software development (such as scrum, sprint structure, testing suites, continuous integration tools).
- Able to use system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks.
- Great team-working skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain regular attendance
