Manager / Senior Manager to join a leading Taunton based firm of accountants

About Our Client
Based in the Taunton area this firm of chartered accountants has been experiencing ongoing growth and the firms services a wide spectrum of clients from entrepreneurial start ups, sole traders, partnerships, along with more significant proportion of OMBs and SMEs, into the £millions of turnover and larger corporates from £10 - £50million plus in turnover, as well as charity and not for profit clients. Along with this the firm has a growing medical sector acting for wide ranging GPs, consultants and other associated medical and health-care clients. This role will have a focus on developing and leading the delivery of services to this client base, building relationships and delivering advisory and planning services to your clients, acting for wide ranging GPs, consultants and other associated medical and health-care clients.
Based from the firms Taunton offices, the successful addition will join at either Manager / Senior Manager level dependent on the background, motivations and fit of the right individual. You will manage and oversee a sizeable portfolio, with the delivery of accounting, taxation and significant planning and business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. You will develop and build strong relationship with clients, in a client facing capacity, advising on accounting and added value advisory services, alongside overseeing a quality compliance service, developing and leading a support team. Advisory work is complex and rewarding, involving projects across business and tax planning, remuneration and exit and pension plans, mergers and acquisitions, property related expansions and other wider ranging advisory projects.
The Successful Applicant
You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA etc qualified, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to Manager / Senior Manager levels. You will have skills across the range of accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills as a general, all around practitioner. You will be looking for a challenging career move where you can carve a pivotal role, driving the future growth and development of this successful office. What's on Offer
