About Our Client
With main offices in Plymouth this well established and growing firm of accountants has significant growth plans in place with a clear business plan and funds to achieve their goals looking to triple in size over the next few years. The firms partners/directors actively planning for the future development and growth of the practice with a clear need to recruit the right higher level professional as a key part of their plans to achieve this growth. With a wider support team across an experienced management team, supported by qualified/QBE professionals and trainees across AAT/ACCA/ACA at varying levels of experience, the firm services for very wide ranging clients, from small sole traders, partnerships through to clients into the millions in turnover on larger limited company SMEs and OMBs across wider ranging industries. There will be a clear route and path for those with interest to progress to director/partner level with the potential for equity involvement.
Job Description
Joining as Manager / Senior Manager with progression on offer, there will be some flexibility to mould the role around the background and level of the right professional and you will manage the delivery of wide ranging services to a varied client portfolio overseeing the compliance delivery of accounts, tax and wide ranging services liaising with clients and building excellent relationships as a trusted advisor. As a key additional element you will also advise clients on business planning and more forward looking planning work advising your clients on KPIs, forecasting, budgeting and helping your clients grow and develop. You will be supported by a wider team and play a key role in developing, supporting, mentoring and managing this team, so will bring strong people management skills . As well as looking to develop and grow a motivated, bright team of support professionals around you, you will carve an influential role in this successful, growing firm of independent accountants with a clear route to progress on offer as well for those with ambitions to develop beyond a managerial position in the medium term with a clear path on offer for equity involvement for the right candidates with these career goals.
The Successful Applicant
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts/tax/audit etc and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to at least experienced Manager / Senior Manager levels and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.
What's on Offer
