About Our Client
Based in East Cornwall, this highly regarded firm of chartered accountants acts for a wide ranging client base of mixed industry and turnover OMB and SME corporates, not for profit, rural and agricultural related and landed estate clients . You will have opportunity to carve a key role within the firm, working closely with partners, in a client facing role, with development potential and a route to progress on offer, for career focused professionals.
Joining as Manager / Senior Manager you will focus working closely with partners on an agricultural and landed estate focused client base, organising and monitoring the work flow ensuring client service levels and deadlines are met, review accounts and oversee the development of your team, You will take a hands on lead in more complex cases and client workload, preparing accounts, management accounts and carrying out other professional work, advising on projects and look to develop the department and client base. There will be progression and genuine opportunity to develop your career.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, CA, with a mix of either large, national firm, accountancy practice background and regional independent firm background, or regional, independent, accountancy firm background only, at Manager / Senior Manager level. You will have either direct, recent and significant expertise in agricultural sector accounting, and/or, a small business accounting background and a working knowledge of business and personal tax and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in the agricultural sector. You are likely to have, up to 4 - 5 years or more, post qualified experience, seeking the right long term, career move. You will be able to demonstrate both the technical expertise in this field along with the additional competencies they will be looking for in the right individual, client facing, business development ability and aptitude to progress in the firm. You will be searching for a role where you can develop and act as a lead for colleagues and other offices as the agricultural expert.
What's on Offer
£40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
