About Our Client
A successful firm in Paignton, acting for hundreds of clients with around half limited company OMBs and SMEs, alongside sole traders, directors and other wider ranging clients. Turnovers are into the £millions on larger clients with core clients in the £100k - £500k range. The firm is very forward moving rather embracing all the developments within the profession and maximising the potential from this with online accounting. Directors are support by a close knit team of experienced full time and part time QBE, AAT qualified and trainee staff. The firm has a low staff turnover reflecting a supportive and team cultured working environment.
Job Description
Joining as a key addition and experienced Practice Accountant / Manager you will be responsible for delivering all around accounting services to varied clients, across a wide range of industry sectors, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies varying in turnovers, size and complexity. You will be hands on and manage the wider team delivering completion / reviewing of annual accounts and tax, overseeing bookkeeping/VAT and Payroll service delivery. As a key element of the role you will also act as go to support to directors, deputising and managing the office and the position offers either a long term role as a key managerial support, or for those wanting to progress, progression is on offer in the medium term to step up to director level.
The Successful Applicant
You may be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background delivering accounts/tax/ etc and all around, general accountancy practice services to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around Manager levels and be looking to take for a role where you can really carve an influential position within a successful firm of accountants. Part or full time working arrangements can be explored.
What's on Offer
