About Our Client

Our client provide facilities management services (mostly soft FM) in to a wide variety of sectors including supported housing and student accommodation.

Based in W. Yorkshire, they are PE backed with a real focus on investment and growth as we move in to 2024. This Managing Director role is focused on driving that growth.

Job Description

As Managing Director your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Identifying and delivering core growth within the UK and Ireland - targeting University Accommodation and large scale vend-led commercial opportunities in the laundry sector.
  • Maintaining and mitigating any potential losses and churn within the existing customer base.
  • Maintaining strategic relationships within the sector, with developers, management firms, and customer groups.
  • Growing Cross-sell across existing customer base
  • Growing and managing Sales groups, including proactive performance management, ensuring clear performance reporting
  • Developing End User strategy and experience
  • Working collaboratively with Marketing to drive end customer engagement both with B2B and B2C customers
  • Working collaboratively with Operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
  • Working collaboratively with IT to deliver a sustainable payment platform, including support supplier relationships
  • Working collaboratively with Finance to ensure timely and clear reporting of managed book performance
  • Supporting the delivery of propositions to ensure the continued growth of the business model
  • Supporting the International expansion of the model to target countries to support the group's broader international strategy.

The Successful Applicant

As Managing Director you will need to demonstrate

  • Strong B2B Commercial experience
  • Sales and account management performance
  • Experience of B2B2C commercial models
  • Experience of working with developers to provide services (not necessarily in the laundry sector)
  • Experience of International market opening
  • Understanding of digital solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Experience of digital marketing, with emphasis on social channels (nice to have)
  • Collaborative working style; open and proactive communications
