About Our Client
A global manufacturer with a large processing site in the Merseyside area, the business provide the highest level of quality level product.
The operations manager will provide leadership to your manufacturer area ensuring material is available and manufacturing is carried out in the most efficient and sustainable fashion to deliver the highest quality of product. The Operations Manager will be responsible for communicating production plans and work with engineering, planning and finance in the area to achieve goals. You will lead HSE in your area and ensure all safe systems of work are in place in line with business strategy. You will be a lean expert and capable of identifying improvements in the manufacturing process and work with project teams to improve reliability and plant wherever possible.
The Successful Applicant
The operations manager will have a degree in engineering or scientific discipline and have worked within a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry with complex processes, equipment and product lines. You will have ideally worked in a unionised environment and implemented successful change and improvement in this environment. You will have capability of solving complex challenges and providing clear leadership, reporting performance to senior management.
