Market Access/ Medical Liaison
Opportunity to define the strategy for going to market for a new product
Opportunity to execute the strategy and build relationships with KOL's
About Our Client
Our client is a start up biotech with excellent growth prospects and a new product offering to the pharma/ healthcare market.
You are joining right at the start of an exciting project for a small business to take a new product to market.
Initially you'll be getting to understand the oncology product offering in detail so that you can identify the best route to market. You will be working to develop the marketing strategy, conducting competitor analysis, identifying the USP's, looking at pricing and focussed on identifying KOL's across Europe. Your work will be supported by your manager and will feed into the strategy for market access.
Once finalised your role will evolve into more client liaison - you will be contacting KOL's to understand their needs, answer medical/ technical questions and build lasting relationships that can be leveraged by the sales team next year.
This is initially a 12 month contract with an excellent possibility of a permanent position at the end.

The Successful Applicant
To be a success you will need to have done a similar role previously-we're looking for a blend of the Life Sciences knowledge coupled with experience dealing with KOL's or building those external relationships as well as experience gained developing a market strategy for a new product in the sector.
In an ideal world you'll understand how the marketing and sales functions of a small business fit together and have experience gained working with both divisions or in either. Experience in Sales is not required however, demonstrable experience gained developing external relationships and approaching new business and clients is required.
we would expect you to be degree educated with industry experience gained in the Life Sciences sector. You will need to attend the offices in Cambridge initially for training on the product after which home working is possible. Knowledge and background in oncology is highly desirable.
What's on Offer
Our client is offering a 12 month fixed term contract that may result in a permanent position.
You will have first hand exposure to a new product launch joining a small team on an exciting path with tremendous possibilties.
Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
