Job Description

As a Marketing Campaign Manager, you will provide strategic input and help to engage a large group of stakeholders in delivering key messages.

As the Campaign Manager you will plan and deliver communication campaigns to drive policy, messages and engage workers, employees, and other stakeholder organisations

What you will do

  • Lead and deliver high profile marketing campaigns and involved in the full MARCOMMS mix
  • Develop and execute creative communications strategies and initiatives to drive engagement
  • Create content for external audiences via various channel's including digital content, blogs, presentations, resources, press releases, and briefings for senior colleagues and stakeholders
  • Support media relations activity, working with the external relations manager to deliver briefings.
  • Work with the team to produce and publish web and social media content in partnership with the digital team

The Successful Applicant

Your skills, knowledge and experience

  • Manage a team of 1, previous line management experience would be ideal
  • Degree level qualification on a relevant subject (e.g. marketing, communications, public relations) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of leading, managing and motivating a team to deliver external marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of planning and resourcing communication campaigns with excellent content and marketing skills to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, influence conversations and think creatively
  • Experience of content management systems, social media channels and digital design, ideally in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Solid copywriter skills with evidence of writing content for a range of audiences whether press releases, opinion pieces, web or social media copy.
  • An understanding of audience insight and partnership working
  • Strong project management skills, and an organised approach to work, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and a creative flair
  • Experience of delivering communications in a learning environment with links to the public sector is desirable.
